MoCI announces investment opportunities to develop beach resorts in Qatar The Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoCI) has announced investment opportunities for the private sector to develop three beach resorts in Fuwairit, Ben Ghanem, and Ras Abrouq. The joint initiative, a cooperation between the MoCI and the  Qatar National Tourism Council  (QNTC), is the first of its kind and falls within the public-private partnership (PPP) framework based on Law No 12 of 2020. It is a key part of the mandate to diversify the economy by advancing and enhancing the country`s tourism sector.
